    Rigged mud flap

Back in the day I did most of my riding in the sand. Being young and dumb, I pulled the mud flap off the 185 s thinking it would help with cooling. Now since most riding is in the dirt, or sometimes mud, the cooling fins get caked with mud. I found this old floor mat and fashioned a makeshift replacement, until I can find a more suitable one. Doesn't look good, but better than I thought, and serves the purpose.

You could always grab a Rootin', Tootin' Yosemite Sam mud flap off a big rig and cut it down.
Sam is a big hit with the children of the 80's

LOL! Have you guys ever had to lift big rig flap? I don’t think the fender will support even a fraction on one.
