    Restoring my 86 'R

Hello, it's been a while since I've been here. But here I am. Many years ago I took apart my 86 250R with the hopes of restoring it but ran out of money. So it sat in storage untill last year. So far, it's been completely stripped and powder coated and every singe piece has been either replaced or rebuilt. All the nuts and bolts and even the wiring is new. The only piece I haven't been able to find is the rear parking brake cable. The clamps for the shock reservoir and the seat latch have been chromed. I've spent a fortune on NOS parts. The motor is rebuilt and the center cases powder coated black and the outer cases polished. It's not quite done, still waiting on the pipe and chain and a few other pieces but it's getting there. Yes the front fork has a leak in this pic but I have the rebuild kit for it so that's getting fixed and polished as well. Still a work in progress. Click image for larger version.
