Log in click on AtcTim (next to his picture) and search his posts if your looking for Great info, from a Hardtail specialist. Lots of info coverd over years of posts and top mods that will enlighten you. Tim you and me both, no what’s in your garage pics. Have to admit, I like the hat rack, but it has a bit of a creepy feel to it....the endless mindless look. If you never backed into one at a Mall and said you excuse me, only to knock it down and try and reassembled it before the clerk shows up. Guess I’m gun shy

I did not paint the motor - just cleaned it with Rustoleum Rust Dissolving Gel. I bought it at Home Depot. I did 3 applications. Spray it, wait about 2 hours, pressure wash it off. No paint - just bare aluminum. Here is a close up of the rear brakes.

Kind of what I am going for. The creepier the better in my opinion. I know I am a weird-o, so I just embrace it! Also - Dollar General is the best place to buy fake mustaches FYI

Oh ok I looked at the pic closer and saw it wasn't painted. Do you ever paint your motors?

200X hub and rotor? I just picked up a spare rear carrier imma cut up for a disc brake conversion like yours. I like how you left the flange there to act as a sort of guard for the rotor.

Yes, 200X hub and rotor - then make a 1.5" spacer out of a pipe or round tube. I try to leave as much of the carrier there as possible to help with structural integrity. The more you cut away, the weaker it is.

The seat covers and seat foams came from eBay - but I am pretty certain you can go to Hi Flight direct. Rear plastics are a custom run from Maier-MFG - 5 set minimum. Contact Jesse Maier on Fecesbook.
