Planning a trip to New Hampshire

SO my buddy owns a house in New Hampshire on Pine River Pond near North Wakefield. He has a couple of big pine trees he wants cut down and offered a weeks stay at the house in exchange for some tree work. Figured I'd bring the kids and trailer the machines up from Long Island and try and find some places to ride. I know there is an ATV park in New Durham but it would be great to be able to ride right from the house. Looks like there's a big sand mine not far off run by a company called Ossipee Aggregates and some dirt roads or trails off White Mountain Hwy. Anyone familiar with this areae and know if ATV's and dirt bikes are frowned upon or if there's really no issue riding there? Riding anywhere on Long Island almost always causes someone to complain.

Anyone up for a ride? Planning on being there June 22-27 or so.

These are my old stomping grounds.... the aggregates are off limits but if you have easy access to get in there there are crazy hill climbs. If you get caught $250 per machine for trespassing and $250 per un registered machine.... New Durham trails are rocky but the new Durham trails that are in waikfield are fairly fast but only a few miles in length. Fun for a short time but can get boring quick. And it’s ten minutes from your friends place... approximately 1 hour north is the largest trail system in the country. Ride the wild... Jericho state park would be the best riding for you and your family... check it out!! Feel free to contact me for any info.

Thanks for the info- Just got back and didn't visit the forum while I was away. Wish I would have cause I definitely would have taken the hour ride. We rode the Wakefield trails off 16 which were fun for about 2 hrs. The New Durham trails I found kind of boring. Just a few mostly straight rocky runs. And boy were they dusty. All in all worth the $ for the 10 day temp registrations. Would have loved to try the aggregates but I'm kind of a rule follower. I even called them to see if they would give permission but they said a kid on a quad got hurt in a nearby sand pit not too long ago and sued so I was told its off limits.

Damn just saw this. Family has land in Freedom Maine not far from where you were. Trails are right there at the end of the road property is on. Haven't ridden my 3 wheeler there yet but know the trails and would have been happy to ride.
