Need a little 185 clutch help.

So I tore into the 1980 185 I recently picked up.
the clutch was smoking and slipping, it did pull and ran really well just slipped

So I ordered a clutch pack and springs, and tore it apart.
Here is what I found, Forgive my ignorance of the proper name of each part.

The bell is grooved a lot, is this normal for a 185? all the others I have done they are not this pronounced
There is a large disc/washer/plate that use to have splines on the inside, the splines are now missing it was between the centrifugal clutch and the bell
The clutch pack only has 4 friction disc instead of 5 like the 185s.
Looking at the missing grooves on the centrifugal clutch, I am thinking it is shot as well

First thing first, I don't think anyone has ever been in this engine. The splined large disc/washer/plate must be replaced, is the bell worn out? should I only put 4 new friction disc in or all 5?
I have other 185s and 200 engines, I could pull the clutch/disc/bell and do a swap, if they are interchangeable parts.

    Any thoughts?

I did some searching and found out the washer/plate is called a clutch plate, it did have teeth on the inside, there was an updated version that is interchangeable. I just picked up a 84 200es big red parts bike the top-end is off, so I cross-referenced and sure enough the 1980 185 and 1984 200 share the same centrifugal clutch and its components. So looks like the new parts bike just paid for itself. Gotta love a parts bike.
I will post so side by side comparisons tomorrow night after I do the swap.

Grooves are normal, aftermarket brands of shoes actually make theirs a bit thicker to compensate
Sometimes they are a file to fit deal.

The drum is hardened steel so its not easy to weld up and return the face. NOS ones pop up every now and then.

    Thanks BarnBoy,
I was thinking the grooves in the drum must be normal, I couldn't imagine a rubbery shoe wearing away steel like that.
I just had the lower end of a 200es come into the shop as parts, I snatched the whole drum/plate/centrifugal clutch, cleaned it and installed it into the 185.
partzilla diagram says they both share the same part number for the entire drum and the internals of it.
While I was there and had the parts, I replaced the clutch disc and springs. figured it wouldn't hurt.
My major concern is whether or not the one way bearing was any good, wont know till I ride it and it gets hot. Waiting on a new petcock and seat cover and that one will be finished.

If you shut it off and you hearing a whirrrrrrrrrrrr-clunk that means the one way bearing is bad. You can still get one new
