    1977 honda atc90 carb

New here, just got a basket case atc90. The carb looks not to be rebuildable. Will a 110 carb work, or other replacements, china? Thanks Harold

The China carbs seem to be a crap shoot at best. The best bet is to try to clean up the OEM one. If it's not able to be cleaned for some reason and you want to try a China carb, I would recommend swapping all of your internals from the OEM carb to the China one. That seems to work best with them. There's a few members on here who will rebuild your carb too if you want to go that route.

    What 350 says makes sense!

IMO it takes a lot for an OEM carb to be completely shot. You'd be surprised what you can do to them to make them work. A very common problem after a rebuild is people overtighten the two bowl screws and distort the mating surface on the bowl. A metal flat edge ruler and a stiff fine tooth file are in order if the bowl leaks after assembly.
