    185 1983 spark plug

    what is correct spark plugfor 1983 185s suspension model. It had a ngk dpr6ea-9 but the manual says d8ea
    They both sound the same

    DR8ES-L or something like that. The R stands for resistor, 8 is the heat range, other numbers mean stuff too. But something close to this will work fine.

    X24ESR-U (Denso)

    Specs are directly from the Honda service manuals. 100% as mentioned above, you will want the "R" for resister plug, and the heat rating of 8. If I remember right, the last part describes the thread size/length and such so having them correct will put the spark plug electrode in the correct spot in the head.
