my first attempt at a 3 wheeler conversion

So I got this 4 wheeler in a trade that I recently did. it is 250cc manual clutch, and liquid cooled. I want to convert it to a 3 wheeler, assuming it's possible. I have a kawasaki ke100 front end I plan to use.
What all will I need to do in order for it to work? I have looked on line for help, but all I see is conversions done from dirt bikes. I know some of you guys have converted 4 wheelers. any tips on the process will be great appreciated!Click image for larger version.

No advice, just a question. What in the world is the quad? At first I thought it was a Moto 4 of some size, but the smooth cylinder on the liquid cooled engine says no.

its some Chinese quad, it's a tao tao...because its a cheap china wheeler I'm not afraid if something gets messed up in the process. I have nothing to lose.

I do see what you mean about the moto 4 styling, it really looks Iike one.

You're going to need to strip it down and make some type of holding jig before you start cutting on the frame. Once you start cutting, things are going to move if it's now fastened down. You'll need a level surface to make measurements from.

The metal on those Chinese frames are the worst part about them. You'll have to make slugs for all the joints if you want them to hold. Butt welds will be too weak.

And you will be lucky if the frame is true to start with. Been there done that already with a China quad.
If its on the internet its got to be true they can't put any lie's on the internet

Nice project, not an easy task, I'm calling you "Brave Dave" from now on.

What does it have for a steering head at the moment?
