    1986 honda 250r suspension

Pulled it out the other day and found the forks are leaking and I have a squishy shock. I need to get it resprung and have the valving changing. Who do you guys recommend for this or what parts to install. I am capable of all the work just no knowledge and don’t care paying either. Thanks

Schmidty racing suspensions is popular as is Racetech suspensions which is a bit more expensive. The front forks are a breeze to rebuild. Replace springs and bushings as needed and of course new oil. There are threads here on the process. I've never done a rear shock but have read that it is not difficult as long as you keep the shim pack in the correct order. The rear will need a nitrogen refill though, which most people cannot do on their own and requires a shop to recharge.
