New to the board
Hello, new member here. I just picked up my first 3wheeler, 1983 Kawasaki KLT 200C, trying to restore this thing, it runs but it need work. So the muffler is completely rotted out, pipe still good (1 inch pipe), I can't find anywhere a muffler fpr this thing, parts are scarce, it is a rare 3wheeler. Anyone here put some kind of aftermarket muffler on KLT 200 and if so what kind? Also the muffler sits like 2 inches from gas tank under the seat.

Can't vouch for the condition, or fitment between the 81 and 83, but something will eventually come up on ebay.

As far as aftermarket is doubt a lot was ever offered, but if you can find a solid head-pipe and a take-off silencer from a modern 4 stroke ATV or even a dirt bike you could probably put something together.

I've got a Harley muffler on mine. Juts made an adapter and welded it on. Sounds good too.
