400 mile trip? I bet it want a 125m or a 110. It's got to be something good! I was at a yard sale this morning, I usually talk to the sellers about what I'm looking for. I mentioned old trikes and the guy tells me he's got 1 and his buddy has a few rotting away in their yards. So we exchange numbers and I ask what he's got... a 250r and his buddy has a 350x and another buddy has some property with a few just mixed in with the old cars. So my new friend is going to collect his 250r parts and give me a call later this week! we'll see. jim

Good luck Jim, that's exactly how I found my 250r, a friend saw "a 3-wheeler" sent me a picture and I jumped on it the next day.
Now that your new friend is in the selling mode, you got to act fast, he is telling others he is selling it. The longer it takes for you to get in front of it, the greater the chance
you will loose it. Funny how things work, a bike can sit 10 years, and no one will ask about it until you find it, then its like the gold rush!

I completely agree with you on the extra width. I generally run 1.5" wheel spacers and haven't had any issues with them. I don't hesitate to ride my trikes in off camber situations.

Thank you knappy, this year projects 200x, 350x and the 250r
200x- get it dependable and rider condition
350x - motor work, fix some of the half-ass repairs done to it, considering a frame off, cause it needs so much work
250r - continue making it better next up headlights, hoses, bars and grips

Another great video Mr C, I bet your relieved you managed to get to the bottom of the kicker problem!
Did you ever determine exactly what was causing you the issue?

Hi Mark,
I'm guessing, that the problem was in the kicker assembly, I could not find anything wrong with the old trans, but still didn't use it. Having a second kicker to feel and compare, I think the old kicker was not returning all the way, and would get in a bind somehow.
Honestly, I lost a year on this bike, pushing it aside, cause I didn't want to deal with it. I hoped it was a top end issue, but nope it wasn't. I found a used bottom end for free (paid for shipping) and I figured, it can it get much cheap than free so I went for it, it was just the cases, trans and kicker, I used everything else from my engine. It was meant to be, I guess. I have changed the oil again since the rebuild, and everything looks great, I have ridden the trike several times, each time getting on it a little more. funny I want to wind the gears out and it wants to shift sooner and pull through the gear, its a completely different type of riding.
