    84 kxt250 bottom end interchange/kit

Hey everyone. Hope all is well.

I'm looking for a 84 tecate bottom end kit. Google wasn't any help. Used the search function on the forum and found the parts interchange thread but it didn't really go into details about seals and bearings.

Anyone know what years of the kdx250 bottom end will work in the 84 tecate?

Crank needs rebuilt and while it's split open we are going to change all the seals and bearings. I have a fresh topend for it ready to go.
This will be a show off trike on the oregon coast. It will not be ridden in the mud or dirt. Once it's running we plan on getting it powder coated to factory colors.

I'm going to keep digging until someone knowledgeable comes along

I assume you are talking about a bearing and seal kit. If so, a “kit” doesn’t exist. I just checked partzilla and most of the bearings and seals are still available. You can also cross reference part numbers to eBay to see if they are available there. Good luck.

I ended up sourcing the peices. Should be running this weekend.
