    I'm not worthy

So about two weeks ago, I came across something really cool. Make that double cool, like a date with Pam Anderson and her twin sister.

Here we have a 1985 Kawasaki Tecate!! YES SIRRRR!!!

Maier Rear fenders, runs and rides but needs to be serviced, just basic stuff. Bolts in what look to be original tires for ice racing-yes, it was a gift from Yankeeland. Pam Anderson cool.

Now, imagine you had a date with Pam and she wanted to bring her sister who was a year older but as equally hot... (double cool!)

And here we have a 1984 Kawasaki Tecate!! (Red) BOO YA!!! SHWING!!!

Yes, I know that it's missing the engine and finding an engine will be like regrowing my hair but the rest is there! And it's red! One of each!!

You never know what you will find when you least expect it. Super blessed.

Those red oem fenders are hard to find. Those looked to be in pretty good shape except for some fading

First- I didn't know Pam had a equally hot sister.
Second- I would flip that red chassis to a hard core collector, and ride the green off the other one!
One year only red, I believe, got to be worth a good amount of money.
Great score, congrats Partiot1. well deserved.

Of course, I was referring to pre-Tommy Lee Pam and as long as it's my dream-yes, she can have a twin sister that is a year older than her!! lol

    Keeping both. (for now anyway)

Big specht: entire bike is that way. Looks to me to be very complete and in remarkably non restored good shape. Just needs an engine and exhaust.

Very nice score, congrats! Dare I say....... maybe a hybrid modern bolt in engine would be good in there....at least until you find a good OEM one.

I actually have a 2001 KX250 that I am going to look at and see if it will fit. I don't want to alter the original frame at all, so we'll see.

What was you thinking about Coolpool? Any suggestions?

The 01 kx250 exhaust exits straight out the front of the cylinder while the tecate is angled to the side. You would have to modify the frame for the kx engine but it would run strong!

Sorry, I'm great on ideas and bad on solutions for this sort of thing. I read a thread recently about a Tecate needing a motor and the frame situation was mentioned.
