200X 86-87 rear plastics on 83-85 bolt on or mods necessary?

I really want 86-87 rear plastics on my 83 200x, is it direct bolt on or do I have to mod? is the tank fitment the same as well? any pics of mods if needed would be sweet.
    Thanks
    Wes

I put a set of maier 2nd gen on my pieced together 85. I had to drill new holes for the seat and latches and I think I cut the front of the them where they meet the tank to make them fit. Didn't look bad all things considered

Same spark plug, same hand grips, same copper crush washer for the head pipe. All other parts are different.

With that said, anything can be made to fit with enough creativity.
