help identifying year model 250R- rear fender/seat

Hi, im hoping someone can help me identify which year model 250 this rear fender and seat are from. As you can tell in the pics, they appear to be mismatched. I purchased the trike in bits some time ago and everything else is 2nd gen 83/84, but from what i can tell from searching the net is the fender does not appear to be 2nd gen. And from pics i have found, it looks more like a 3rd gen 85/86, can anybody confirm this? The mountings have been bodgy'd and the fender does not sit on the frame properly which further suggests its not the original. Any help is appreciated, thanks.

I agree the fenders are 85-86, the seat does look like a 83-84 but I'm not as sure about that.

    Thank you to all.

Wondering, has anyone tried mounting the 85-86 fender onto an 83/84 frame?

I notice that the Maier fenders for gen 2 250R [website pics], does seem to have the correct bolt holes that match my seat.
