    Engine Builder Recommendations?

    I have a 1984 atc200x and the other day during a ride the engine locked up tight. Kickstart won't move and shifter won't move up or down. Been wanting more power out of it anyways, and what better time than now. Considering rebuilding myself but I know there's shops out there that could build a better engine than I could. Anyone have any recommendations for a legitimate shop to build this little engine?

    I've used Mike Baker ('shortline10') and Brendon Yeager (yeagerb) from here. I'm sure there are others

    Both are skilled with the 200X

    What are my options? Been looking at stroker kits for a while now. Not sure what's all done to the engine now as I've never been inside this one. Guy said it should be .030 over. All I know is that this is my favorite trike to date but it needs more than 10 horse haha.

    Thought I'd give a little update into what happened. Way worse than I originally thought. Rod snapped on both ends, oem 65mm piston shattered, sleeve busted and many cracks, rod was hitting the the case and all the shrapnel was stopping the transmission gears from rotating. Crank bearing are like brand new yet somehow. Got a complete gasket set with seals, billet 3rd gear from Greg Jr. DID timing chain, timing chain slide and adjuster, and currently awaiting my specbolt stainless bolt kit for the engine and shipping the engine out to Tom Carlson at TC Racing to have him work his magic on this old engine.
