Big Red 250 es air filter alternatives

Have 3 old Big Reds I need air filters for. I don't have the original cage/inserts for them.

Looking for cheap alternatives that still work in the OEM airbox - like the K&N style ones from China on Ebay, etc.

Flange in the airbox measures 91mm (3.6" ).

Anybody found anything that works/fits? Thanks!

I have this one on my 250SX. It doesn't take the cage and it wasn't very expensive. I believe that UNI makes that style of filter too. I can't remember for sure what I'm running on my 250ES, but I think it's a UNI of this style. I usually buy them off of Ebay.Click image for larger version.

Thanks, good option. I was also looking at those K&N knockoffs on Ebay for $5; just need to find ones that fit.

Those usually don't filter very well. They let a lot of dirt get by into the engine. That's why I stay away from them and only use the oiled foam filters. I really feel that the K&N style of filters are almost as good as the old gym sock style that was on the SX when I bought it.Click image for larger version.
