1985 ATC 250R rear shock spring weights by rider weight.

    Hello,

I am looking at upgrading my 1985 ATC 250R suspension. I suspect that the stock springs are too soft for me at 210 lbs.

Do any members have recommended rear shock spring weights for rider weight for my 1985 ATC 250R?

    Many Thanks,

    Bernard

Go to racetech.com , you can use there website to see suggested weights. It will show you prices also for there products. If for some reason it doesn’t show up you can call them and there very helpful. I re did my 350x with them , and a few dirt bikes also.

    Shawn,

Thank you for the response. How did you like the results for your 350X?

Night and day. Keep in mind I re did the front and rear springs and valves at the same time. But for the 350x it’s spring way soft and with there calving it flows smoother. Stiffer springs and better movement makes it a different animal. The cartridge valve emulators for the front forks with make you forget about buying those expensive invert kits.
