    Regarding a 1986 Suzuki lt230s

    Anyone have any idea what would cause the chain guide roller the one that goes on the swingarm to keep breaking have replaced three times splits every time have replaced chain sprockets and swingarm bearings and every time I put a new roller on within 40 feet of riding look and its split again has done it three times before I put another one on it I would like to know if anyone knows what is causing this pro been

    I had one of those years ago that I Frankenstiened. I remember having that same issue. IIRC, what I had to do was use a high dollar one from Suzuki. I think that one went around the swingarm and I had been trying to use cheap aftermarket ones that mounted off of the swingarm. I had welded a bracket to the frame and was using it to mount the rollers. I cut it back off after the OEM one worked.

    Thanks for the reply we have been using the aftermarket rollers that go on the swingarm this time we ordered a OEM one hope that solves our problem
