    will a 200x wheel, hub fit a 200s?

if the project frame doesn't pan out, will the 200x front wheel hub and axle fit a 200s fork?
I was just wanting to add the 200s forks to the 185s and put the x front tire on it for a different look and maybe make a bracket to mount the caliper to use the front disc brake. jim

it was worth a try. I'm only finding 3 lug hubs and wheels that match in the stash of parts, the 200x lower engine mounts are MIA found 200s mounts with needs the frame holes elongated or redrilled. Got another trike guy offer me 80 bucks for the project but after soucing parts for a 185s hardtail, I might work on the 200s frame and trade the 200x parts for the parts I need for the S. jim

2 years ago I bought 2 85 200x trikes (posted about them here) got them both running, titled then sold them like a idiot. the really nice one went for 800 and the one with a slipping kick start for 600. Haven't seen any that cheap since.
I get impatient when it comes to any projects. if its not running in a weeks time I get anxiety and want to get ridbof it. What I probably need to do is make room in the garage and start bolting peices back together to at least make it look like a complete trike. Then work on each individual system like brakes, suspension, electrics jim

sure it will... it might not be a perfect bolt on and go but it can be done,

I guess the correct plan of attach would be to cut the necks off both trikes and weld the 200x neck on the 185s frame, but I was just curious about a direct bolt on swap.
From what I understand, even swapping the pin on the triple tree to fit the 200x front end makes the angle of the forks wrong.
I guess the best idea is to just leave the frame as is and build it slowly and spread the cost out over time. jim
