tell me about suspended 185s'???

Did going to a 12 bring the gearing back to where it was? Did it feel any more or less torquey? I want to put 20's on my 200s

I think I found a rusted seat pan for this 185s, going to fiberglass it to keep it together. ebay cover and a yoga mat for cushion. maybe put a decent set of tires on it and call it a day! I'm supposed to look at another hardtail this weekend, Not sure if it's going to become a donor for the other suspended builder, or just make another stock trike and trade the suspended frame. jim

I'm running 20s on my suspended 185s and I went 12/36 gearing and it seams to do really well with it. 11/36 was way to torquey. Somewhere in between 12/36 and 12/38 would be perfect honestly. My top speed on pavement with the 12/36 gearing is 52mph. I feel it could use slightly more torque putting around trails but 11/36 was too torquey for me when I tried that setup. Just thought I'd throw that out there

here's the crusty seat pan I picked up today. it's a start, grabbed a fiberglass kit. converting the rust now, hopefully this weekend I'll glass it and build back some body to it, cushion is usable so time to order a seat cover.
It's amazing how fast these things turn back to iron oxide. jim

pulled rear fender and seat off the latest 185s project. main reason I bought the new project was for the fenders and seat. jim

that crusty pan is going on to one of the other trikes now. I've got 1 new fiberglass fender and this seat pan for one of the other 185s projects which will probably be the latest trike since it runs. jim
