    Old news. Some months ago when this first came out the American state department complained to the Chinese ambassador that it’s diplomats were being unfairly subject to these tests. They complained that they were 103 instances of this test being administered to American representatives. The Chinese immediately disputed the claim and insisted that only three diplomats had been subject to the test, but one of them, the American secretary of transportation returned 100 more times to be tested.

    It's a little different situation, but when I was an infant, I'm pretty certain when my mother thought I had a fever she put a thermometer in my hind end. Luckily, I don't remember it. I don't have the money to pay for that kind of long-term counseling.

    You are correct sir!

    However, this has been reinstated for visitors for the Olympics. Apparently being criticized the first time did no good.

    Aside from that, why the fack would you use this method instead of just a nasal swab? Seriously
