    kawasaki atc?

guys got one that doesn't know anything about it. basically told me it's black, it's a kawi, busted plastics, seats from something else. Not much to go on, I have zero parts for one, he's selling it for 100 bucks. it's about a hour away and I'm not sure it's worth the time to even look at it. amd he doesn't know much about sending pics.
Opinions? run? if he said it was green, it might be a Tecate and I'd go look. jim

It's probably a klt of some sort. Might make a couple bucks parting it out
Looking for a Bassani silencer for a 2nd gen tecate, the style with the movable mount. 1st gen will work

If it was green and a four stroke, it would probably be a KLT200.

Hopefully one day in the near future someone will invent something really cool, I don’t know maybe like a telephone that they can take pictures with and transmit them wirelessly across the world so that mysteries like this can be solved without all the head scratching and drama that comes from a lack of information.

Could be any of the KLT series 110, 160, 185, 200 or 250. Not sure what the market is like down there but if I find any complete or mostly complete three wheeler around here for $100 I buy it.

And yet this super high tech, futuristic, "Jetsons" world, still eludes us.

Jim it's funny you should ask about Kawasaki trikes. I just picked my first one up last weekend. According to the frame tag it's a Klt160a. Any info I've seen on it says it has reverse though I have yet to find any reverse lever?
Maybe I'm overlooking something or the info I got is inaccurate. This bike is probably a parts only deal due to missing pieces but was so cheap I couldn't turn it down!
The plastic are faded but not destroyed, the frontend is complete and the seat pan is usable. Plus other misc. Parts and pieces. It would be an interesting bike to repair and ride but I've got more projects than time now that warm weather has arrived.
    Take care

Reverse lever on a 160 should be above the pull start/shifter area. Found a video on the youtube showing how it works

Hey thanks TrikeKid. After watching the video I believe my trike may be missing some pieces. I'll try to post up a few pics of the engine in that area. Maybe someone can explain to me what's missing.
    Take care
