how to figure which carb is what?

over the years I've bought projects missing carbs, having china carbs, stock carbs etc. if I have a few stock type 185s or 200s carbs in a box, how do I figure what carb goes to which trike? I went to 223cycles and the rebuild kits for the 185s and 200s has different part numbers. thanks. jim

The big difference in the carburetors are the float valves , their are two different styles , one has the metal clip and the other just slides in . A 200s carburetor should use the metal clip style float valve .

I have a box of old carbs too. Some of them have different size slides. Any idea what models used a small slide carb?

    All the Atc 200 / 185 models are 22mm carburetors except for the 200x it’s a 24mm and the xr200 is 26mm .
If your talking non OEM carburetors then who knows lol .

That's good information to have. Thanks Shortline.
Time to look over what I've got and rebuild one to replace a leaky China carb on my daughters bike.
    Take care
