    vp race gas ?

around here we can't get 100% gas, we can go to the hotrod shop and buy leaded race gas. Anyone else use race gas in the trikes? seems when these trikes sit for awhile, the carbs have to come off and get cleaned. Back when we had 100% gas, cars would sit for years and run fine when we added fresh gas. jim

I’d use a fuel stabilizer before I’d spend the money on race gas for an unmodified engine. My experience with race gas is that once it is exposed to air it degrades quite rapidly and gums up your carb, filters, whatever it makes contact with. It’ll keep quite a while in a sealed container, but not in your carb and tank.
    It sucks to get old

I use a mixture of Cam2 110 race gas and 91 non ethol at 32:1 Amsoil Dominator. For racing sometime I do 3:1 Cam2 to 91 Sometimes I do 50/50.At 50/50 I'm at 100.5 octane. The place I buy my race gas at sells a leaded race gas I'm thinking of getting some.

your motor does not need it if its not set up for it. Drail you bowl at the end of each side when running corn 93 and you will be fine. Ive done this for 8 years and never rebuild a carb since

I run 87 octane pump gas that contains ethanol. Towards the end of the season I will switch to ethanol free fuel that is available at a few stations near me. Anything I have that sits for long periods of time gets ethanol free fuel.
I used to use fuel stabilizer but found it to create as many problems as it solves.
It's not easy when you have dozens of engines but the best thing is to run em!
    Take care
