    1983 Honda 110 Cam Question

Hey everyone, I'm looking to buy a new cam for my 110 but was asked if it's a "short snout" or not. I didn't know they made longer/shorter cams for the 83 110. Would the longer snout be for a points bike and short snout be for CDI bike? Or would I have to take it out to check forsure? Thanks!

Long shaft is for a CDI model , short is for a points model .
You can use a short shaft by using a longer bolt to hold the advancer if you have a CDI model .
    Hope this helps .

Awesome I appreciate the info! I have a CDI model and the cam I was looking at is a short shaft. I'll probably just buy it and go with a longer bolt as you suggested. Thanks again!
