    350x rocker arms

Does anyone know for sure if 250x rocker arms will work in a 350x?

350x is a 4 valve head. Each rocker arm actuates TWO valves. The 250x (information that I can find online) is a 2 valve head. Nope, not gonna work. What information do you have that says this would work, or why do you think this was possible?

No, the 250x is a 4 valve head. The rocker arms look identical while still installed in their respective covers. I haven't pulled them out yet. Thinking the shaft size might be different or something. They have a different oe part number for some reason. The 250x exhaust rocker arm even has the boss for the decomp like the 350x even tho the 250x dosn't have a decomp.

Ok, I just googled the Honda 250x and TODAY it's a 2 valve head. (my reference: https://powersports.honda.com/atv/sport/trx250x) So evidently in the past it was a 4 valve head. For my info, what year 250x is it that you have?

Sounds like it might be a match then based on your observation, especially since the tab for the decomp lever is there even though the 250x doesn't use it. Good luck with the swap!

You are referring to the TRX250X or TRX250EX which was derived from the honda Recon 250 which in no way is related to the 350X engine design. What the original poster is referencing is the TRX250X that Honda sold from 1987-1992. Very similar engine design to the ATc350X. However I can not answer the original posters question about fitment.

Sorry I didn't know that Honda had renamed the little 250ex to 250x. I have the 87-92 flavor.
