1980 185 Fender Question

Im looking at a Honda 1980 185, its in decent shape but would possibly like to get new fenders someday. They are the split design with the trunk in the middle. My question is, I cant seem to find them reproduced anywhere, would the single piece 185s fender fit? I know I would lose the trunk Im just concerned with all the bolt holes lining up. Thanks

The 81-83 ATC200 (regular ATC200 not the 200e) rear fenders should fit the same as the 1980 ATC185, but the red is slightly different (Passion Red instead of the Tahitian Red on the 185 which is more of an red-orange).

As far as the 1-piece fenders from a 185s fitting on that bike, I doubt it would work without a lot of cutting/drilling. The seat on the 1980 sits lower, more between the fenders. On the later 185s, it sits more on top of the fenders if that makes sense. Overall, the 1980 ATC 185 is a larger bike than the ATC185s.

Do you happen to know where to find the 81-83 200 fenders? I tried to search it but kind of run into the same problem.. finding 200s 1 piece fenders but cannot seem to find the 2 piece fenders.. Thanks

I don't believe there is are new aftermarket replacement options for those rear fenders.
You can check ebay for used OEM Honda fenders. The nicer ones can get expensive.

I can confirm - there is no aftermarket makers of these fenders. You would need to find used ones for replacement.
