New owner of an ATC

Hi everyone, my name is christopher, and i was gifted a 1987 ATC250SX. I do have a manual that came with it. And a few new replacement parts. My question is that it does run, but wont go into neutral? Not sure if im doing something wrong. And the other question is how hard is it to find parts that arent listed online? Id like to restore the bike and enjoy it. Looks to be pretty complete. But wont know until i dig a little deeper. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

Won't go in neutral when it's running or when it's off?

What parts do you need? Babbitts or Honda of a Troy might still have some NOS OEM parts available. I would look there first for factory stuff and then E bay is a pretty good place to look for used parts
