Wow, talk about a rare piece. My understanding is that Rotax has almost no more parts available for those 250 engines as they were a lot rarer than the big bore 400/500 stuff, much of which was still available from them a few years back.
I wonder if that engine was exclusively for Tigers or if it’s the same engine that was used in the Can-Am bikes of the time?

Very rare indeed and very nice piece. I am building one for a customer now and finding parts is a freaking nightmare. Not to mention that I had the cases re-welded as the magnesium, if not properly taken care of becomes very porous from gas and other elements.
