What I found while I was doing my searching the 86/87 200x front hubs are the same for both years.

The 85 350x has a slight grey black colour and has those small nipple tabs on the end of the hub. Opposite to each other. Same as the 85 250r hub. 250r is gold in colour.

I also see a lot of 350x hubs mistaken. Behind the stud if you have a nut it’s a first gen 200x hub

I know 9000% I filed the nipples off the 350x hub and they are all now gloss black powder coated. I only used the 350x hub since I knew it was same Bolt Circle for the rim I had. OK that's nailed down.

I'm gonna put the 85 hub in the lathe and take of 3mm to center the rim. The others I'll just sell it looks like. I wanted to smaller bolt pattern so I could buy a new 11x6 wheel.

Tonight I'll look at the casting numbers and off to eBay they go to new home fully rebuilt. I'm not building more.

Just to confuse the difference even more The 86-87 200x hub "collar" between the bearings is a different length than 250r/350x as well.......This nos 86-87 200x front axle collar is 6-1/8" long. No idea on the other 250r/350x bikes length though but do know there not the same.

    Shep,

Already knew that. I just made a new one out of stainless last week for the 86-87 200x. It matches 83-85 200x collar too. Correct dimension is 155.50mm (6.120in)

I didn't feel like using fuzzy old crusty metal that will rust more.

I confirmed my axle spacer I bought from ATC-ATD on facebook match OEM 83-85 200x collars also. So that's cool.

Honda made this way harder then it needed to be. Now due to every guy parting stuff out they don't have a clue to what they are really selling.

Least the guy I bought it all off was correct in saying he had a 350x front rim and hub.

I will win the offset front wheel game.

So both of my hubs have #1 cast in them. Ones same width as my 85 200x front hub, the other is crazy shorter....maybe the other is 250r?

    Let's try something else.

    Width overall of 83-85 200x hub 7.75"
    Width overall of 86-87 200x hub 7.75"
    Width overall of 350x hub?
    Width overall of 250r hub?

My mistory hub width overall is 7.50"

Got all the 83-85 stuff put on and mic'd. I need to lathe the hub .093" to center up the wheel. They are all off 3/16" inch....letting my pride get in the way. The spacers and spot on and so it the caliper mount. Never noticed this stuff and have been doing this nearly 2 decades. Already removed the studs. Hopefully in a week it can go off to power coater.
