What’s your opinions on the 1982 ATC 200E model? Found one local for sale. Looks to be 100% complete.

Other than the forks being nonrebuildable, they're not too bad. They're a hardtail so don't expect a Cadillac ride.

Thanks, I already have a 1983 185S but always looking to add to it and this one just popped up in my area. He does have the stock wheels and tires for it. But he's asking $1800 for it which I feel is a little high. What do you guys think on this 200E?

It looks like a decent machine. I’m my area it would probably sell around the 1200 or less amount. I’d try to negotiate with him. But price has to be evaluated from the trikes condition.

Does electric start work? Are the forks still working? Brake work? All lights working? All those help determine price .

Thanks for that advice. I might check it out later today but will only buy it if I get a good deal on it. He did say everything works on it.

That's just about the same type of wheels that came with my 1980 185. I changed them out pretty quickly.

He's pretty set on his price. He tried sending me pics from bring a trailer on restored ones. Told him thanks for your time and good luck with the sell.

Sounds like you made a good decision. People will do anything to make a quick buck. I’ve had some shady sellers and typically don’t buy from them. Also had some shady buyers, I like to sell to people who want to own something, not quickly flip it. People don’t like it when you over hear them talk about reselling it before they even buy it, especially when you call them out on it.
