    Cleaning out stock 250r exhaust

    1985 250r stock pipe and muffler. This system was on an r when I got it 20+ years ago.. It was ran with a cracked piston and cheap oil forever. We rebuilt engine and replaced exhaust with aftermarket. I got this stock setup out of storage and put it back on the other day. It is so plugged it will barely flow. I know it has to be carboned/ slugged up. How can I clean this out? Looks like a series of baffles up in the muffler. Don't see any way to get them out. Afraid if I try and burn it out, I might mess up something in the baffles. Any ideas?
    Trikes: Cagiva 200, 85? Tiger 250,(2)84 200x's , (3)86 200x's, 87 200x, (5)85 350x's, (2)86 350x's, (2)85 250r's, 86 Tecate, (3) 85 250sx's Restoring: 83 200x, 86 250sx. Too many utility trikes to list.

    since it's probably carbon, how about plugging 1 end and filling it with something like 1/2 gas and 1/2 seafoam and let it soak for a few days.
    or just pour a couple cans of seafoam thru it multiple times and let soak. jim

    dont use gas....it explodes too much as 1st, diesel or just use a torch and burn it out. You could even give it to a powder coater and ask them to blast it and just put it in the over for all day and then high temp coat it
