3 wheeler XC Racing in INDIANA! CANCELED!! F#@K INSURANCE!

If you didn't know the Extreme XC racing series in Indiana has a 3 wheeler class on their schedule for this year. They have 2 classes as of now lites (200cc and below) and heavy (201 and up). There were only 4 of us at this race this past weekend but it was still a blast. There were 2 200x's in the lite class and an 86 250r and my 250 polaris P3 in the heavy.... yes I know, a polaris against a 250 is like bringing hands to a machine gun fight but believe it or not I still placed 1st due to the 250r having throttle cable issues. So if that tells you anything don't be worried about what to bring and race if you can make it. A 200x, dx225, 250sx, 350x and 250r would all be great be at the end of the day you just have to be reliable enough to finish the race. I'll post pictures of my race if anyone took any of it later.

Here's the few pictures that were taken. There's a few short videos but nothing too amazing. The P3 did great until I started my 4th lap and it tossed the chain right out of the scoring tent and got bound up in the transmission and stopped my race.

Earlier in the day I placed 2nd on my 09 trx50er. That race was 2 hours long and I completed 5 laps. I was down 10 minutes and a lap from the leader but it was a rough track so I was already wore out before this race with the 3 wheelers.

Congrats on your win.I have been trying to get some of the Cross Country atv series here in NY to let us race trikes no luck so far.

This 85 350x is what I'm trying to finish before the end of the season. I had planned to have to done by the start of it, but my 450r blew up, and I spent what money I had to get it back together. I finally have the new main bearings and connecting rod to rebuild the crankshaft and get the bottom end done. The cylinder was dropped off last week so hopefully it'll come together quickly. The rear tires are just for mock up to see what all I'm still missing. I can't wait to have this out on the trails racing XC!

The race for this weekend was postponed until the 15-16 of April. That's going to be a busy weekend for me because the other series I race in is also on that weekend but on Sunday. So I'll be racing Saturday on the 450 and whatever 3 wheeler I take (probably my 250sx) and then Sunday on the 450r. I might get my ltz400 back up and going for a backup. Not sure.

Placed 4th in the 3 wheeler class on a 250sx (last place) against 250r's. Placed 5th on the 450r Saturday and 2nd on Sunday with crossroads racing series.

So far, I'm 2nd overall in points on 3 wheelers and 9th overall on the 450r with Extreme XC and I'm 1st in points with Crossroads. Not too bad for a weekend of racing. I need to get this this 350x finished so I can race it. If anyone has a complete seat and decent rear fenders (maier would work) I'd be interested if you are close to indiana.

I hope you get that 350X going soon. I bet if you get off the SX and onto the 350 you will hurt some feelings of those 250R guys.

Took 1st today on my polaris P3. Also, I took 5th on my 450r earlier in the day. You guys are missing out on some good racing. WE NEED RACERS TO COME TO THIS EVENT. Hell, One guy that's been showing up is driving from Alabama. It's not super hard. They put us on the intermediate track that doesn't have any big hills or anything, and we only run for about 45 minutes. Most of it is pretty fast. I mean..... I'm racing a tank of a 3 wheeler and still doing well.

You guys could come out on 200x's, 350x's, 250r's, DX225's, or tri-z's. Basically, anything with suspension (highly recommended, lol). It would just be awesome to put on a good show for everyone that is there and continue to give Extreme Xc a reason to keep the 3 wheeler class.

Took 2nd today on the polaris. It just doesn't have good enough suspension to go fast through the rough woods stuff. But it's fast as hell in the open sections

Took another 1st place in the heavy class but second overall because only 2 people (me being one) to race. You guys if you are close are missing out on some good fun! Also took 2nd on my 450 earlier in the day in Vet C30+.
