1984 Honda ATC 110 no start

welcome to the world of gas engines, sometimes you check everything and it still doesn't want to run!. my 200x would fire on the old plug, but only sometimes, swapped in a checked and swapped anyway pulse generator, coil, rotor direct wire still wouldn't fire the mew plug! finally checked the stator and it was reading a little off, installed a new stator and she fires right up!

What not into the intake while attempting to start?

I'm asking simple questions because you've indicated whether you know or not that 4 stroke engines aren't your specialty. Being concerned that "the exhaust valve is the first one to open" is silly if you know the basic fundamentals of a 4 stroke. I still think there's something simple that's wrong.

I honestly forgot that once you go past the compression stroke the first thing would be fire then exhaust, It's been a little while since I had to do valves. I have done them on multiple bikes, trikes, and quads.

Unless the stator is outputting less then it truly needs, I am not sure what it could be. How would you go about making sure it is outputting enough to fire?

download the manual, it tells the spec on what a stator should be. jim

have you double checked to make sure the wiring harness has no breaks? verify continuity from stator to cdi, cdi to coil etc. jim

No I have not checked that yet, I might have to do that tomorrow if I have time to do so

He already allegedly did all that by checking spark. If he actually has consistent spark the wiring is sufficient and it should've popped by now. Either something isn't as he is saying or something is assembled incorrectly.

I missed the part of consistent spark. maybe a bad vacuum leak between the intake and head or carb to intake?

you did go back and line up the F mark on the flywheel and pulled the rotor cover to make sure the rotors magnet side in line with the pick up?

Yes I did make sure the rotor and the pickup is in line when the flywheel is at the f line on the compression stroke.
