    Attention tri z powervalved guys

I’ve been in contact with upp about making curved intakes for the i believe 84-87 yz250 top end To keep the air filter away from the pipe. They will make them if someone can make the plates for the boot. They don’t have any that match the measurements I sent. I don’t have a way to make them if someone on here is willing to make some would help us out.

Are you talking about the aluminum plate that is molded into the rubber?

BTW, I “think” the 84 cylinder has a straight intake.
    It sucks to get old

Yes I am. I couldn’t remember the starting year for the curve.

I just looked at some photos online. I think you’re right, 84 was curved.

That plate should be easy to make. Can it be steel instead of aluminum? I can get a few made of steel, but to do aluminum I’d need to buy a full sheet.

I don’t see why steel would be a problem I have a sheet of aluminum I started making one by hand. Taking forever without special tools
