The 200X carb is a 24mm while the other 200s all use a 22mm carb. Will one from a different 200 work? It will if it bolts to the intake, but I'd change the jets over at the least.

I use mercury powertune on my carbs dissolves everything and makes all the brass shine again. Regular carb cleaner doesn’t work.

Short answer is yes you can.

I use the Zep brand rust remover....but I also like to heat the Berryman's can with an electric heater to help things along.

You may need multiple soakings and boilings and air....and I mean multiple.

Here's a link to my carb cleaning for my 84 200x.
