1984 200x, which side is easier...

Have my bottom end ready to reassemble. Which side do you normally drop the trans, crank, etc. into before putting the halves together?

I always put the parts in the left Case half , mainly because of the inner kick starter assembly / gears .
Not sure if it’s even doable any other way .

That's where I ended up going with it. I don't have a book but was planning on putting the kick assembly in the right case half and everything else in the left.
