New to me 1983 ATC 250R
New to the forum. Picked up an ‘83 250R on May 29th. Still have some cleaning to do, but so far I’ve rebuilt/replaced front and rear brakes, rebuilt the carb, replaced the chain/throttle cable/clutch cable/fuel hose, re-covered the seat, replaced the plastics, painted the tank/handle bars/brush guard, replaced decals, made a pull bar, and installed some fork boots. Couldn’t find any original air scoops for a decent price, so I ended up with aluminum ones. Didn’t realize the new plastics would be missing the section for the “250R” decals, so I just stuck them on the scoops. If anyone has any recommendations or advice please share, it’s been about 20 years since I last messed around with ATVs or ATCs.

Reason: Fat fingered the title…it’s an ‘83 not an ‘84

Looks great! If you have questions about the fooler, I am sure I can at least be the middle man to give you some advice. I don't own one, but 3 of my brothers do and they are the best running foolers I've come across. Coming up here in September we do a yearly trike ride at Little Sahara and it would be great to see some new faces and trikes. It's under Mosh at the Mountain on facebook.

Thanks! Sounds like fun, Little Sahara is only a few hours from me. I’ll look it up
