My neutral light stays on even when I disconnected my neutral switch? The light works normally (on when in neutral/off when in gear) when I unplug my CDI.
Does that mean my CDI is bad?? I'm not getting spark so I'm trying to see if this is could be a sign of a bad CDI

Yup................. OEM CDI box worked finally. Never buy Chinese/Aftermarket, lesson learned.
And just FYI for anyone reading this, I bought 2 Chinese/Aftermarket CDI's off Ebay, where each had 100+ purchases. Both didn't work
