    none

i would get a blaster you could get a 250 ex but their slow, they cant climb very well, and they don't have that much power. the blaster on the otherhand is faster and can climb better, if you do get a blaster i suggest you get a k&n filter and the jet kit, thats one of the best upgrades you can get for the mony on a blaster. have fun on whatever you choose.

My choice would also be the Blaster. With a few upgrades it can haul and has other potential to go bigger to the 240cc kit.

you should go with a blaster becase there is many aftermarket parts for them so you can easly improve power and handling/suspenson.

go with the blaster... a better stock bike.. make sure you get the new one with the full disk brakes!
Ride it like you stole it! And never look back! They are too far behind to see!

I would have to agree on the choice of the blaster. Light weight, quick, and just alot of fun to ride!!
02' Honda Rancer, 02' Honda Foreman, Working on a deal to pic up an 86' 250r ATC and a 98' 300ex frame set up for a 250r motor!! This will be my first trike, and it needs some work, but it will be BAD!!!

I think im going to go with the 250ex. Im not to big of a fan on yamahas or 2strokes. ya i know that the blaster faster but the 250ex won the all around contest.plus i like the drive shaft instead of a chain and a 4 strokes thanks for your opinions

Im a two stroke Yamaha man, but if you get past the "which is faster" arguement, the 250EX is a better quality machine (and the price reflects it), and especially if you are a beginner or fairly new to big quads, it will probably better suit your needs. Youll also find it to be a lot lower maintenance. Both are fine quality machines, but youve got to match the machine with the type of riding and rider, and a lot of questions about the rider and type of riding should preceed any recommendation for a machine. I would prefer the Blaster, but just from the little bit of information you have given, the 250EX might be a lot more suitable for you.

I would choose a blaster, without a doubt, over the EX.

Theres no such thing as an autoclutch sport in my opinion.

With the blaster you get: quality manual transmission, upgradability, performance and an all-around reliable machine.

    ,,

    I agree with Tim sr.
Why do they put warning labels(No riders under 16)on blasters???
    I saw a 10 yr old(no more than 75lbs)hauling trailprotrailprotrailprotrailprotrailpro on a worked 400ex at Haspin.

Lets not forget the Bombardier Rally 200, and the new Suzuki Z-250. There are a whole slew of utility quads. I woukld recommend the blaster or Rally. Although the Rally is un-prooven.

Well, I have to dissagree with this. Yes, 4 strokes are more forgiving if you mis-shift going up the hill, but 2 strokes will climb hills just fine. I ride in the sand dunes and the hills(used to) and my 250R climbed hills no sweat....faster than every 4 stroke I've ever raced. As a matter of fact, everyone I went with uses 2 strokes. My wife has a blaster and has no problem keeping up with me in the dunes....well, she can climb all the stuff I can. I just need to get a pipe for it to make it a bit quicker.

My friend has a 1987 Honda 250X 4-stroke with a supertrapp pipe for sale for $2000. Nice bike. My sister rides the same bike and it does really good in the dunes.
