    $6200.00 OTD for a YZF450

Does $6200.00 OTD sound like a good price for an '05 YZF450.

I think that was originally the MSRP (before all the add on costs), but MSRP doesnt usually remain as reality for long. What I suggest is going to a couple dealers, at least 3, and get them to bid against each other for best out the door price. If a dealer offered you that price, go to another dealer, simply be straight with them, and say," so and so Yamaha offered me this price, OTD. Can you beat it? You can even do it by phone, but in person is more effective. I saved $230 on an RT180 from 1st to 3rd dealer, and I saved $160 on a Warrior from 1st to 3rd dealer.

    dealer shopping

Alot of times if they cant beat the price, and want to make a sale anyway you can get them to throw in extra goodies for free (riding gear, tire or wheel upgrades). I got a spray on bedliner, mud flaps, and a bug deflector when I bought my truck. They could match the price, but this is what I made them do for me to buy at their place.

That sounds like a deal to me since it lists for almost $6,900.

I bought my Blaster from them last year. They blew everyone else away and even delivered for free to the house.
