With the help of mwill15 we got the cam install finished up. The chain slipped off the crank gear in the process of me installing the cam and I called mwill15 to help. He was able to wiggle the chain back on to the bottom gear using a little trick he thought of that was very impressive.

So, with his help we got the chain issue sorted out and finished everything. Initially it feels like it has more power, but how much is the question. I don't have a feel for that as I only rode if for a minute or two. I have a slipping clutch and the seat's off getting covered so those things need to be sorted out first. I'll add my general impressions of the cam to the other thread i started then.

The only thing I can really comment on thus far, is that idle quality is essentially the same as the stock 200s camshaft.

    Hey Study,
I has a question. I’m wanting to put an XR200 cam in my ‘85 200s and i was wondering if when you ordered the cam, did you also order new bushings as well?
If so, did you order bushings for a 200s or an xr200 on service honda? or does it matter what ones i order?

I'm not sure he will answer since this thread is 19 YEARS OLD.

You mean the (1) bushing? They should be the same pn.
