the auto adjust is under or near the pull starter, just start it up loosen the i think its a 14mm nut, give the little slot screw in the middle a turn out and then tighten the nut back up, thats what my manuel says, and then theres a bolt under the motor, looks like an oil drain bolt, it comes undon and there is a little screw type tensinor, to tighten the chain you turn it in, to loosen you turn it out....hope this helps

The 70 has a non-adjustable (not user adjustable) tensioner. There is a spring and a pushrod that install through the bottom of the motor. They push on a linkage arm behind the stator plate which has a tensioner sprocket which puts the right tension on the cam chain.

    Guys
Does anyone have first hand experience with working on the ATC 70 engine.
In particular the cam chain tensioner?
I have removed the 14mm seal bolt from beside the drain plug and I have backed out a slotted bolt when the bolt came out so did a spring and a rod.
I have put it all back in but I do not know how much to tighten the slotted adjuster bolt prior to installing the seal bolt again?

Am sure there's some guru's on here know what am talking about here's a picture of the set upClick image for larger version.
