That is an unbelievable deal. Someone here should buy that real fast.
Wikipedia "All Terrain Vehicle" Definition excerpt
Other smaller or lesser known companies, such as Tiger ATV, Franks, and Cagiva, produced racing three wheelers, but in much smaller numbers. Few of these machines are known to exist today and are highly sought by collectors.

He has the forks together wrong. The left leg is on the right side and vise/versa. I think it looks tall because the forks need to be dropped in the tripple trees, and the rear shock needs the ride hight set.

I bet that thing would fly, but to be honost, it looks hideous right now..He needs to do what MIK6 said, that thing is WAY to tall.. Imagine trying to keep that thing on 3 wheels on a good traction surface with the ride height that tall... going that fast...
Give me no lip and I tell you no lie.

Thats what I was just noticing. Somethings weird about them though. The look too long, like they came off a dirt bike. If you switched that fork to the other side, the caliper would be on the outside of the fork. Strange. Some people. But not a bad KXT500.

The shape of what I can see of the frame, the coolant res, the layout of the seat/fender/tank leads me to believe its a Tecate frame. The right shroud has been trimmed to clear the pipe. The head light is stock. The extra height in the rear is from the extra length on the swingarm. Somethings weird with the forks, I don't think they are Tecate. my guess from what i can see is the triples are stock KXT. They could be custom.

Anyway, I think it's the KXT chassis with different longer forks and a longer swingarm. Thats why it sets up high. From what I've read on here in the past its pretty easy to drop a KX500 motor into a Tecate chassis. The motor mounts all line up. you have to make a new head stay and clear a cross member in the frame for the spark plug. Then whatever issues the pipe might present. I guess you probably have to run a clamp on filter. Don't quote me on this as I haven't built one yet. I know theres people out there who read this board that have.

Posted a pic of my '86 for comparison.
