Other smaller or lesser known companies, such as Tiger ATV, Franks, and Cagiva, produced racing three wheelers, but in much smaller numbers. Few of these machines are known to exist today and are highly sought by collectors.

Well these plates are in fact alot more narrow than the early 80's 250r's. That one would fit on my air fooler and the 85 Rl. I even tried to put it on the tecate and it was too narrow.
86-87 Tecate ROCK!
Ride fast...........brake late............and Slide the rear!
I've got a green one just like that for my 86 Tecate. Fits just fine. I've had it for several years.
Looked for a red one like that for a long time for my 84 KXT.
I don't know how wide the 81 R is but the green one I have I would guess is too narrow for one fat-front R.

Well, I had one too, and it would NOT properly fit my 83 250R, so either Im a liar or..................just expect parts to actually fit properly. One could put it on a bycicle and it would be OK, if thats what you want, just an "OK" fit, go ahead and give howie 5 times what its worth.

Hey fellaz,
I am thinking of talking to the guy that is assisting me in reproducing the tecate shrouds and see about dong some number plates. They would be a glass material(fiberglass) but would be just as strong as those I bet. I might have to look into that.
