Glamis: To go, or not to go?

I've been daydreaming about those endless dunes and the 24hr ride/party/sensory overdose that I've read goes on there. Can anyone who's been there give me that final nudge that'll make me decide to plan this sucker out, or can anyone talk me out of the 1800 mile one-way trip?
Any websites with pics/stories to help me make up my mind?

Whatever you do, make sure you get out to Glamis. I've been going since I was 6, now 24... I'm planning on being out there from March 6th to the 9th. Besides, the 250R just got a fresh rebuild...should be interesting. Go.

    It's a plan!
That place seems to be the ultimate riding experience. This is going to have to ba a long term goal, like maybe for next season, due to the distance and $$ involved. I working on a few friends and brothers that I believe will make the jouney with me.
My R will be ready by then, but my wife is hoping that this is just a "phase". She aint got a clue just how powerfull this desire is after waiting so long.(20+years) :-D
