A big jump in performance would be a K/N filter @ a slip on Pro Curcuit mufler or Super Trap.Rejet carb to 152/155 ,42 pilot and drop needle 4th setting. Get yourself a AC nerf bars and front bumper. We have two with this setup and it made a big difference. We change front sprocket to a 14 (from a 15). we have lots of hilly woods riding.

If you are riding in open terrain and seldom use 1st gear, stock gearing is fine. We ride tight woods trails and use the lower gears alot. thats the reason for the 14 tooth sprocket. It's easier on the clutch also, you don't slip it as often.
