hello, i gotta findout what carb goes on this quad...i have the feeling that they weren't made till like 1985, but its for a friend and i'm not too sure she knows what she b talkin about lol

Production started in 1984 but "1985" is the first year for the LT230S QuadSport - it was introduced as the 4-stroke counterpart to the LT250R QuadRacer. It appears that the whole carb is still available from PSP for around $195 - but - Ronnies has whats probably the same carb except for the 1990 LT250S for $200. I would just call around to the ATV salvage yards and you could probably pick one up cheap. Heck Howdy might even have one, so I would ask him too.
