My new 250R Short Track Tank kit before install

Here she is.. I just cleaned it up and I guess I am going to go install it. It still has the original warning sticker on it. I need the hoses for it. If I can't buy them I guess I can make something work.............I will show some pictures of it installed in a day or so...... I probably paid to much for it.. But if ya got it spend it!!! $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ $$$$$$$$$$$

if thats the kit that was on ebay a week ago or so you got a deal IMHO. it went for under 525.00 and thats as cheap as i've seen one go for so far. Update: Just looked it up, thats it.

This may be a stupid question, but, whats the difference between the short track tank and shrouds and the original tank and shrouds? Is it the size?

yeah, the s/t tank sits back quite a few more inches and same with the shrouds, to allow for more steering angle....and the shrouds stick out more, so when your forks are covering up the radiators they can still scoop air...also, the s/t tank holds a little more than half the gas of the stock tank...

Yea it was on eBay. The auction ended about 1:00pm on a Monday afternoon. I think I paid $545.00 for it. $515.00 plus $30.00 shipping. Keep it quiet I told my girlfriend it was $150.00 plus $18.00 shipping and she flipped out.. I had to hear "what is wrong with the tank you have now" that new one looks smaller, why do you want a smaller tank??.. .....................I had high bidder at $425 and just bid $515.99 and at the last second somebody bid $510 . I won it by $5.00.

Man O Man can I relate to this. My wife calls eBay my version crack. " Do you have to look at that every night" and "What was in that package UPS left for you?"

I buy the expensive stuff on my friend's credit card and give him the money.

There is a BIG difference between your wife busting your balls and your girlfriend though!!! Nice score on the tank.
